Data Deletion Request

1. Your Right to Deletion
Fassix is an AI customer-engagement platform operated by Ishaan Shringi ("we", "us", "our") based in India. Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable law, you may request deletion of the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains how to make that request and what happens after you do.
This includes data connected through Meta / WhatsApp Business — such as your WhatsApp phone number, WhatsApp profile name, and message content processed by Fassix on behalf of a business that uses our Service.
2. How to Request Deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, send an email to our Grievance Officer at hello@fassix.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please include:
- The email address associated with your Fassix account, or the WhatsApp phone number you used to chat with a Fassix-powered business
- A brief description of the data you want deleted (e.g. "my entire account", or "my WhatsApp conversation history")
You may also reach us on WhatsApp at +91 95583 13578 to initiate a request.
Account holders can also delete their account directly from the dashboard at app.fassix.com under Account settings, which triggers the same deletion process described below.
3. For WhatsApp / End Users
If you interacted with a Fassix-powered AI agent over WhatsApp or on a business's website, the business that deployed the agent is the data controller for your data, and Fassix acts as a data processor on their behalf.
You may contact that business directly to request deletion, or contact us at hello@fassix.com and we will assist in fulfilling your request and coordinate with the relevant business as needed.
4. What Gets Deleted
Upon a verified request, we delete the personal data we hold about you, which may include:
- Account details: name, email address, phone number, hashed password
- Agent configurations and uploaded knowledge base content (for account holders)
- Conversation history, including WhatsApp message content, phone number, and WhatsApp profile name
- Contact / CRM records derived from your conversations
- Visitor identifiers and associated session data
5. Timeline and Retention Exceptions
- We acknowledge deletion requests within 48 hours and complete deletion within 90 days.
- Some data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being overwritten on the normal backup rotation.
- Payment and invoice records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law, even after account deletion. These records are not used for any other purpose.
- We may retain limited data where required to comply with a legal obligation, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
